How Can I Help?

Wax Chaotic is able to continue performing concerts around the Midwest because of supportive people like you who generously donate their time and effort to get us from gig to gig. We rely on your help in all its forms so that we can keep doing what we love. Here are some of the many ways that you can continue to keep us on the road.
There are a bunch of ways to do this – you can mention us on your blog/FB/MySpace, email friends personally, or, you know, actually tell someone...over coffee, say, and preferably with some way to play them a couple of your favourite songs. Lend out your CDs! We all know that when people hear fun music, they tend to want to hear more. (Whoever put that "unauthorized lending is bad" line on major label CDs just doesn’t get it. It's how people learn about new music!)
Wax Chaotic has a Facebook page and we'd love for you to Like it. This will give you access to photos that aren't on the website and is a good way to receive up-to-date announcements about tour dates, website updates, and other information as it becomes available.
Facebook, Twitter, and other social media services also make it easy to tell your friends about our music. Sharing our website URL, Facebook page, or YouTube channel is more helpful than you might realize.
Whether you're looking to book us as a Guest of Honor or just need another band for your event's music track, we love performing at conventions, festivals, and other events. We're always on the lookout for new events to perform at because it really helps us get our name and our music out into the world. And because most of our repertoire contains fantastic, mythical, and otherwise fan-friendly themes, chances are that your event's attendees will be glad we're on the program, too.
House concerts are smaller, more intimate concerts where you get to have performers that you like playing music in your living room. Read our "House Concert How-To Guide" for more information about hosting this type of event.
We love doing dual concerts with other musicians. In the past we've been known to pal around with The Greenman and the Muse and we're working to arrange more dual concerts with other artists. If you're a solo artist or member of another touring group, drop us a line and we can see about getting together in the same space and rocking the house down.
